my favorite old men

i think i'll go about this chronologically rather than by how much i love them because that is difficult to quantify

1. Pete Burns (August 5 1959) my first old man . this particular fascination came about in november 2019 because he worked magic on me with that you spin me right round baby music video, and subsequent other bits. my sweet misunderstood bitchy angel
(FAVORITE PIECE OF WORK: early post punky dead or alive material)

2. Danny Elfman (i forgor) but not so much anymore because of the sexual harassment allegations???? either way what a freaky guy . there is a bit of a gap because of Neil Cicierega who is not old.
(FAVORITE PIECE OF WORK: Nothing to fear 1982)

3. Ron/Russell Mael they come as a set. honestly mostly on here because of easter sunday in los angeles

10. Andy partidge (nov 11 1953) who's music i grew up with and didn't know it until relativley recently. he's i think the most relatable on this list a really down to earth guy really english.
